MUSCAT - Salalah Airport reopened for traffic movement from midnight on Saturday, according to the Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA).
In a statement issued on Twitter, PACA said, "Due to drop in the impact of the tropical system, we are allowing resumption of air operations. This is in accordance with the safety requirements and in coordination with the operators." PACA said that regular international traffic via the Omani airspace too is back after disruptions for few days.
Oman Air said that it had resumed services to and from Salalah. In a statement, Oman Air said, "We're pleased to confirm that with the opening of Salalah Airport, Oman Air operated its flight WY901 at 1.40am (Sunday) from Muscat."
