Saudi Arabian Airlines (Saudia), the national flag carrier of the kingdom, and Garuda Indonesia airlines have expanded their existing bilateral codeshare agreement. Under the deal, Saudia's code - SV will be added to GA flights between Indonesia, Saudi Arabia and beyond.
This follows from the existing partnership on Saudia flights operated between the kingdom and Indonesia. The expanded agreement will now include flights sold and operated by both airlines to points within both countries, as well as three destinations in Australia (Sydney, Melbourne, Perth).
The additional route will open up new flight options and reduced journey times by flying with the two carriers, in addition to making it even easier for loyalty card members of each airline to accrue and redeem miles for future travel.
