SalamAir to launch direct flights to Alexandria
Oman budget carrier SalamAir has announced plans to launch flights between Muscat and Alexandria, Egypt, starting March 2. The new route will initially operate three times a week and will move to daily operations in May.
The new service is the airline’s second destination in Africa after Khartoum, Sudan and the first direct flight offering between Muscat International Airport and Borg El Arab International Airport. Flights will depart from Muscat at 20:35 and arrive in Alexandria at 23:45, and return flights will depart Alexandria at 00:30, arriving in Muscat at 06:55.
