Turkish Airlines has revised its codeshare agreement with Oman Air, the Turkish flag carrier announced. Under the revised agreement, Turkish Airlines will codeshare on Oman Air operating flights to Salalah, while Oman Air will codeshare on Turkish Airlines operating flights to Rome, Copenhagen and Algiers.
The codeshare agreement allows guests to benefit from the outstanding products and services offered by both carriers on these routes.

Effective Sunday 15th July 2018, all Gulf Air passengers flying to/from India, Pakistan or Bangladesh are permitted to check-in a maximum of two pieces of baggage, with a maximum combined weight as per ticketed baggage weight allowance. Budget airline SalamAir has announced that it is set to add a third flight between Muscat and Shiraz. The airline said in an announcement "In response to our guests' demand, we are adding a 3rd flight to our Muscat-Shiraz route."
